The Future of California: An Economist’s Perspective

    I looked at your presentation and understand most of what you are saying.Your projections are based on the standard assumptions about climate change and reach logical conclusions based on those assumptions. You understand that there remains a possibility that some of these standard assumptions are wrong and might compromise the accuracy of your projections.

    It is good practice for climate prognosticators to avoid the use of “premature deaths”, “EPA deaths,” and other allegories to death when advocating public policies related to climate change. It is also misleading (and fraudulent) to make the unsupported claim that climate can be controlled by government regulation of carbon dioxide emissions. Some of the standard assumptions about climate change are wrong, so be careful.
