Renewable Energy Beyond 2020 — Lunchtime Conference at UCLA Law next Tuesday

Please join us on Tuesday, November 19th at UCLA Law for a free lunchtime panel presentation on the future of California’s renewable energy policies beyond 2020.  California is on pace to meet the goal of securing 33 percent of the state’s electricity from renewable sources like solar and wind by 2020.  What energy goals should policy makers begin considering now to help sustain the momentum?  How can policy makers ensure that continued renewable deployment helps the state achieve its overarching greenhouse gas reduction goals?  This event will discuss these issues and offer ideas to address the challenges.

In addition, UC Berkeley and UCLA Schools of Law will also release a joint report at the event on this topic, entitled “Renewable Energy Beyond 2020.”  The report is the twelfth in the UCLA and UC Berkeley Schools of Law Climate Change and Business Research Initiative, which develops policies that help businesses prosper in an era of climate change.  Support generously provided by Bank of America.
