As an Emmett/Frankel Fellow at UCLA Law, Jesse Lueders researches law and policy solutions to the climate change crisis and conducts research on other environmental issues for the Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. He will also work closely with UCLA Law’s Frank G. Wells Environmental Clinic. His research interests include climate change law and policy and protection mechanisms for air and water resources.

Lueders is a 2013 graduate of UCLA Law, where he oversaw the school’s chapter of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. He has interned with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), and WildEarth Guardians, working on a broad range of environmental issues. He has also collaborated with NRDC and the Center for Biological Diversity through his involvement in the Frank G. Wells Environmental Clinic.
