Gabriel Penteado is Program Associate of the Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force, at the UCLA Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment.
Previously, Gabriel worked in Indonesia and Latin America to address deforestation by large-scale, collaborative programs as the Sustainable Landscapes Management Program (SLMP) in Indonesia and the Collaboration for Forests and Agriculture (CFA) in the Brazilian Amazon, the Cerrado and the Gran Chaco region. He holds a Master of Development Practice from UC Berkeley.
