The Top 10 Reasons Trump Should Endorse A Carbon Tax

Here are ten reasons why it’s time for Trump to endorse — no, demand! — a carbon tax:

10.  It would be completely inconsistent with his past positions.

9.  It would be a shocking move.

8.  He’s already endorsed raising taxes on the rich, so why not endorse a new tax too?

7.  It would allow cutting the corporate income tax, which he favors.

6.  He’s not in the fossil fuel industry anyway.

5.  The GOP establishment would be aghast.

4.  He could mock the other Republican candidates for disagreeing.

3.  He could mock Fox News for disagreeing.

2.  He could mock Megyn Kelly for disagreeing.

1.  It would leave the media wondering, yet again, what the hell is going on.

Honestly, this is a no-brainer.  I’m surprised he hasn’t done it already.
