Jonathan Zasloff teaches Property, Land Use,  Legal History, and Local Government Law. He has practiced for at one of Los Angeles’ leading public interest environmental and land use firms, challenging poorly planned development and working to expand the network of the city’s urban park system, and served on the Board of the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy. He received his law degree from Yale and his PhD in American History from Harvard, but don’t hold that against him. He also teaches Jewish Law, and will receive smicha (rabbinic ordination) from ALEPH – the Alliance for Jewish Renewal in January 2019.
