Jayni Hein
Jayni Foley Hein is executive director of UC Berkeley School of Law's Center for Law, Energy & the Environment (CLEE). She works with diverse stakeholders in academia, law, business and the non-profit sector to advance environmental and energy policy goals through interdisciplinary research, collaboration and advocacy. Previously, she served as managing attorney at San Francisco Baykeeper and as an associate at Latham & Watkins. She earned her JD, Order of the Coif, from Berkeley Law and her B.A., with highest distinction, from the University of Virginia. Her current research addresses climate change, water resources, hydraulic fracturing, and environmental media.
