UCLA Law Symposium: Perspectives on Climate Change
Please join us at UCLA Law School on April 15th for the 2011 Environmental Law Symposium, Perspectives on Climate Change, Pollution and the Clean Air Act. The keynote speaker will be Gina McCarthy, Assistant Administrator for EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation. Please RSVP. You can also check out the program for more information.
Panel topics will cover ongoing questions about climate change and the Clean Air Act. What is EPA’s strategy for tackling climate change under the Clean Air Act? Is its approach the best way forward? And how will climate change affect the regulation of traditional air pollution? Will climate change or regulatory initiatives intended to combat climate change result in the exacerbation of traditional pollutants?
The symposium is presented by UCLA Law’s Emmett Center on Climate Change and the Environment, Evan Frankel Environmental Law & Policy Program and Journal of Environmental Law & Policy. It is sponsored by Morrison & Foerster Cleantech Group. Panelists include some of my fellow bloggers here on LegalPlanet: Ann Carlson and Cara Horowitz. And fellow blogger Sean Hecht will be one of the moderators.
